"WE ARE BROTHERS" is a fictional play, taken place during the 40's, about a small group of friends who have known each other like siblings for the entirity of their lives. When the Japanese naval force attacks Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, William and Thomas enlist and eventually head to Iwo Jima. Their third friend in the group, the half-Japanese boy Patrick is shipped off to Japanese American Internment camps. As one of the men returns home from war, and Patrick is released from internment, true colors are shown from the WWII veteran that he is now blinded by hate against the Japanese.

"WE ARE BROTHERS" is a struggle between friends and loved ones as the reality to what Americans really thought about the Japanese Americans, who had nothing to do with the war, inhabits hurtful propoganda, slurs and remarks.
